Welcome to our 8th Air Force Challenge Coin Collection! We're beyond thrilled to introduce our very first in-house product, lovingly handcrafted and designed by our talented artists right here in Dallas, TX.
THE ULTIMATE COIN COLLECTION
The 8th Air Force played a huge role during WWII, with around 40 Bombardment Groups and 15 Fighter Groups. Every month, we’ll be releasing a new set of Bombardment or Fighter Group Coins. These Coins are in-stock and will ship shortly after you make your purchase! When we finish this incredible journey, we'll have crafted approximately 275 unique coins!
THE COINS
Each coin is 50mm in diamter (2 inches) with a gold finish. What makes them special is our unique process to create the 3D relief on each coin, like a reverse carving! It all starts with research to find the correct artwork from the WWII time period. We then take that artwork to our sculptor and the artwork is turned into a full 3D carving! That carving is then hand painted by our master painter and we use special software to convert the painting into an ink profile and the carving is converted into an embossing profile and goes to our special printer where we print in 3D at incredibly high resolution on each coin on both sides. The result is astounding!

TERMS & CONDITIONS
Customers may join the Wings of Valor Club at anytime. In some cases the item(s) included in your membership may be delivered during the following month based on your location and sign-up date. Months are paid for in advance, and you must have a paid subscription for a given month in order to receive that month's item(s). Subscribers that sign-up anytime during a given month will receive that month's item(s). Subscribers do not receive previous month's items as part of their subscription. The item(s) offered during previous months may be purchased separately. Monthly billing will continue until either you cancel your subscription, or until the club closes once all upcoming coins have been produced and delivered.
Your subscription fee does not include shipping. Shipping is calculated based on the weight and size of the product, and your location.
You may cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account dashboard. If you cancel your subscription before the beginning of the next month, you will not be billed for the upcoming month(s). However those that cancel their subscription will not receive any upcoming monthly item(s). Those that cancel their subscription may resume at any future time. However, you will not receive the item(s) offered through the subscription during the months that you were not a member.
Merlin Models may offer rewards and gifts to members of Wings of Valor based on reaching subscription milestones. In order to receive these rewards, members must have been subscribed for a minimum of 6 months in total. These months are not required to be sequential.
Subscribers will receive a free monthly PDF document that provides enriching details about the given month's coins. This PDF document will be delivered monthly to the email address that is provided during checkout. It is the subscriber's responsibility to ensure that they can receive emails from Merlin Models.
